Reed Diffuser Care Tips

Reed Diffuser Care Tips

Reed diffusers offer a flame-free way to scent your space with elegance and ease. Their slow release creates a subtle, continuous aroma that becomes part of your environment. With a little care, your diffuser can last longer and perform beautifully.

Placement Matters
-Choose a well-ventilated area with gentle airflow—this helps disperse scent evenly.

-Avoid placing near direct sunlight, heat sources, or strong drafts.

-A central spot like an entryway, living room, or bedside table works best.

-Consider the size of the diffuser when deciding where to put it. Smaller diffusers are great for bathrooms or offices. For larger spaces, multiple diffusers, placed strategically, will help to ensure the fragrance is consistent throughout the room.

-We recommend using 6-8 reeds. The more reeds you use, the stronger the scent will be. If fragrancing a very large room, or if you enjoy a strong scent, begin with 7-10 reeds. A diffuser with lots of reeds will not last as long as a diffuser with fewer reeds.

Flip the Reeds
-Flip reeds every few days and give the mixture a slight shake to refresh the scent. The saturated ends release fragrance more effectively when exposed to air.

-Do so over a paper towel or sink to catch any drips.

-Our Reed Diffusers can last up to 2-3 months. The more you flip the reeds, the faster the oil will deplete.

Replace & Refresh
-Always use new reeds when switching scents to avoid blending aromas.

-Top off the oil regularly to keep the reeds from drying out.

-Reeds can become saturated or clogged—if this occurs consider switching them out with new reeds.

Store Oils Wisely
-Keep unused oils in a cool, dark place to maintain fragrance integrity.

-Avoid exposure to heat or sunlight, which can alter the scent.

A Ritual of Stillness
Let scent rise gently—and linger with grace. Let your diffuser mark transitions—welcoming guests, winding down, or setting intention.

Pair with matching sprays or candles to layer your scent story.

Pause. Reflect. Manifest.
