Our Story

 

As founder, maker, and the soul behind Nahsh Selah, I’d like to first and foremost thank you for joining me on this journey. A journey that began as a search for stillness in the midst of loss and chaos. I found myself searching for meaning, and candles became the answer. Soon I began creating them myself, experimenting with different fragrances, focusing on ingredients that were safe, clean, and natural. 

What started as a single soy wax candle became something more: a way to honor memory, process grief, and find moments of peace through a ritual of flame, scent, and craft.

Nahsh Selah is more than a brand. It’s a tribute to the legacy of Nahshon B. Cohen, a light that continues to guide me every day. Nahshon's name lives in the very foundation of this space. Through Nahsh, we move forward with courage. Through Selah, we pause to reflect. His life and memory, a daily reminder of why this all matters.

Each handcrafted product is an invitation to reconnect. Reconnect with yourself, your space, your intentions. Whether it’s the soft crackle of a wick, the gentle fragrance in the air, or the drift of incense, I want these pieces to be more than sensory, they are small rituals of Selahs.

At the heart of it all is a simple call: Pause. Reflect. Manifest.
